Looking at a warehouse building for conversion into a residence (with large garage for me) and also some office spaces. The building has a very large basement level.

One option is to punch a big lightwell through the ground and upper floors to get light in to the basement level. However, I was thinking maybe some businesses don't want or require natural light.

My short list do far is film editing/ video post production etc, photography studio, software coders

Can anyone think of any others? Building is in a gentrified inner city area so no noisy/ heavy industry uses or car parking or storage type etc.

Does the pelican collective have any other ideas??? Legal only please.
