Yes it would be a stick... however in this case I would be taking over Miata and give the wife my 2010 Hyundai auto.

(When I met my wife she was driving a Nissan pickup with a stick... but go figure)

OK so help me...

Wife has $5000 inheritance to spend on getting a car.

We Have my 2010 Elantra and my 1984 944... I love the 944 but have resolved to sell it as is and move on...

Wife is about to get a job so we need 2 cars.

I'm giving up my fun car (944) so it would be nice to get something fun to drive (Miata).

Wife loves the VW beetle (happy wife happy life).

I'm super busy and on a tight budget (can't spend time fixing or paying to be fixed) so need something reliable.

So... $5000 and reliable (a little fun to drive a plus butnot nessary), GO!... gotta get ot work, will check back
