Eagle Claw made a nice spinning pack rod. I keep one in the car in the summer.

That looks a lot like my old 1960's eagle claw back packing rod...only it was fiberglass, and the tube case was aluminum. I had an envelope sewn from old toweling with a long pocket for each rod piece. Kept them from rattling together.
If you come across a high lake with brook trout, try a panther martin spinner...that is unless fish tastes have changed over the years.
