What really surprised me, was that the owner of the company recognized me and chatted me up for a few minutes and proudly showed off his newest amp. This was the guy that reluctantly let me into his shop a couple years ago to study Les Paul's and ultimately brought out his real '59 for me to look at and hold and subsequently told me I could call him anytime if I needed dimensions for other guitars - a real, real honor. I have not seen him since the NAMM last year. |
