I won't know where the final hp figures will be until next weekend but I'm hoping it will be in the neighborhood of 525 +/-. The story behind this engine is actually the builder himself. He got his break with Connie Kalitta at Bristol back in the 60's and later on he worked on the GT40 program and with Holman Moody before Ford pulled the plug on racing. It's taken over four months for him to complete the engine but good things are worth waiting for!

Do you really only think 525? the cam will be the answer but you've got to nail the cam specs with the monster flow of the heads! Can you fit your han in to the ports?
I couldn't imagine trying to drive that light weight roadster with a rev-happy monster ported 427+ I would want as close to race tires on the street as I could.
I love over kill on hp to weight and this is it.
