It took me roughly 6 months. Outside of Pelican/Rennlist, I found a lot of owners unresponsive or even indignant when the notion of PPI was mentioned. Dealers in general have put their prices in the stratosphere and I found a lot of dealer cars that were in my price range (Sub $30,000) had some serious bodywork that didn't show up on the Carfax.
