For the '90 I just bought, two-to-three years on and off. The big issue for me was that there were few decent 964's in my neck of the woods that weren't cabs or Targas. Over this period, I compiled a fairly lengthy list of sites specializing in Porsche sales and service but even that didn't provide much to choose from. In the end it took a bit of digging and pursuing the "unobvious" which in my case meant going back through an old CL post that I had kept to find that the car had not been sold and was still available if I was interested. I wound up getting a 23 year old car with service records back to new with less than 32K miles on it that I plan to keep for quite some time.
