+1 for what Eric said. I look at it as whether a person makes good, ethical choices that are life style determinations or not. That comes from somebody who isn't an angel and has made a few questionable choices in life. If you're considering marriage, I would think you'd weigh a potential mate's past life choices. That is unless you are in your teens and can't think because the blood has drained somewhere else.
