Todd that rain gutter looks really good, hell of a lot better than the factory one! As far the latching system I think you are right in thinking about having several latching possibilities! Because it will make your system more desirable with anyone thinking about getting one! There will be no custom work involve that could possibly end up getting the top ruined. Good thinking!
