They are huge around here. I bought xc skis this year, but I'll have one soon. Rumor is Specialized and Trek will have one out soon too.
They work in the snow, on the beach and starting to see them all year round. Some guys around here have some neat blogs on adventure trips with them. Think riding frozen rivers, waterfalls and the shoreline of Lake Superior in northern Mn.
I have a couple miles on one, and they are fun. The Moonlander is kinda on the heavy side but in this class who cares.
