  It is certainly worth a read for you outdoor types - camping/hunting/driving in bear country. I cannot understand the number of motorists who leave their cars and stand 20 yards from a grizzly to get a photo as I witnessed last summer near Jasper Alberta. Unbelievable.

I agree, but it is getting somewhat dated. People should read thru the recent research by Tom Smith, now at BYU.
