I long ago paid all the bills from my hip replacement surgery. I kept getting one bill from a radiologist for 33 bucks. I had called them months ago and I was told the final bill was some silly amount like $4.35 and I paid that. She said then that was all and the bill was paid. Then for the last two months I get a bill for $33. I figured it was easier to pay the stupid thing than spend several hours on the phone. If it was like Azzy's bill I would fight!

.
Today they returned the check because my account was already paid in full. WTF! why did they send me a statement with a balance due? When I pay my bills my credit union mails a check if the payees don't accept electronic payment. Now I have a check made out to the radiologist that I need to deposit back into my own checking account. This is analog! I will have personally have to go to credit union and explain to them to put the money back in the account.
Grumble grumble. Stupid analog checks. At least it is a deposit into my account.
