Make sure you get all the vacuum lines installed correctly and not leaking. I had a situation where my car used gas like crazy and would barely go until 1/2 throttle. I could not find the problem. Finally, one day I'm under the hood and I see a small random just hose end lying there. I could hear it sucking vacuum so I stuck a golf tee in it. It was night and day. I still don't know where it went but it ran 100% after that.
