I'm planning to go hiking on Saturday (2/2/13). I haven't decided where, yet. Anybody interested?
Here are a couple I'm thinking of:
- Shipwreck, south of Redondo:

I'm new to the westside, so I'm open to suggestions. I'd like to get up into the Baldy or San Gorgonio area, but should probably wait until there's less snow. I have done Icehouse Saddle in the winter before, and it was pretty awesome, even if a little slippery.
I'm out of shape and slow. It's better if you are too, or at least very patient. Trailrunners would probably not have a good time with me, nor would people who do Mt. Whitney as a day hike.
