There are plenty of cars on the market that cost way over $500K, and none of them are a "good investment" if you actually drive them. Some toys just cost more than others. If that kind of money is chump change to you, and you like the car, go for it.

I'd rather have a Singer than a lot of other boutique cars that break down a lot and take forever to fix, etc.

There is, for some people, a certain comfort in flying under the radar and it is easier to do with a Singer than it is with a Ferrari, or similar.

It's all relative.
