Agreed the key word in my OP was "Interim". No she is not a teacher, but merging two school districts over the next year is primarily a business function. Different unions, redundant mainteanance staff (possibly), figuring out the best use of office space and office personnel, etc. She won't be considered for the permanent Superintendent position because she is not an educator, and she knows that.
