What a day that was!
One of my favorite parts was Landseer's "exit strategy", knowing we were short on time... wife and kid at the pool, due home any moment.
I believe we hold the record for the quickest removal from trailer, of a non-running pre-production 928.
Went something like... line up the trailer btw the gate, lower ramps, push really hard, hope it lands in the right place (which it did) close the gate (so wife doesn't see it)...
Then Landseer departed, just as quick as the car was unloaded.
The whole thing was surreal at the time. The adventure happened in less the 48 hours, all in.
Contacted seller Thurs afternoon, squared up the deal the same day, car in by backyard Sat afternoon.
