Last night we found out some of my wife's friends were hiking at Will Rogers State Historic Park, so we joined them. We hiked about 7 miles. It was a really nice day, but not as clear as I would have liked.

I forgot my real camera, so all of these are from my iPhone.

We didn't run into any mountain lions, but we did see a few deer from a distance.

To the left of downtown you can see the mountains of the San Gorgonio Wilderness. To the right of downtown in Mt San Jacinto. To the right of that is I don't know what. It's not as big as it looks, just closer.

In the center is the Will Rogers house from the earlier pic. Catalina is just peeking in from the right, and LAX is in there somewhere.

Anybody know what this is? I think it resembles bear or cat, but it's small. The largest piece was just over an inch. It was all over the trail. Maybe bobcat? I have no idea.

San Gorgonio over Downtown over the polo fields.
