I have a 2.7L longblock for sale. It was pulled from a running 1976. This engine has Mahle cylinders and pressure fed cam chain tensioners and head stud timeserts I assume (they don't really look like case savers). This was a ROW or 49 state engine as it came factory with the "SC" style exhaust fitted with a factory pre muffler rather than a catalytic converter. This was not a thermal reactor engine. As such it has survived these years with all 24 steel head studs intact and none pulled. As a part of my inspection of this engine I removed the head nuts cleaned them placed anti-sieze on the threads and re-torqued them. All held strong. This is an excellent rebuild candidate regardless of your plan mild to wild. This is an unmolested 7R case 2.7 that has not seen the thermal extremes most of these engines have.
Price reduced to $1000 Plus shipping, I feel more comfortable calling this a core than a runner, although it did run when dropped, at the minimum it would need a reseal. I have no problem arranging the shipping for you.
