You're probably right; everything is silly-expensive right now, and I'm not actually in any desperate need.
New plan: hold off until the AWB falls through in Congress and supply catches up to overwhelm demand. With any luck, prices will be more reasonable in 6 months, and I can take up a new hobby with ease.
