Hopefully the thread hasn't died. I have had my 71T for 30 years, and I believe I am the third owner. It is presently apart and I am making a push to resurrect it this year. The second owner was a Porsche shop owner that dabbled in selling cars, so I am not sure what he did to the car (took off, sold, replaced, etc.). As a result, I have a couple of questions regarding the authenticity of the car.
Car was built in 7/1970, color - Pastel Blue 2020, comfort kit (911 S Trim), and Chrome wheels. Both door key slots are horizontal, 911T is on the glove box, the seat release button is rectangular with a lip to assist in pulling up, and the logos on the rear lid are gold.
1- My car has a rectangular drivers mirror not the Durant mirror cited in P. Johnston's book. Do any 71's have these rectangular mirrors?
2. I do not have a rear sway bar. Were all 911's fitted with rear sways?
I know I will have other questions, or I can provide additional information/verification, so I hope this continues.
Thanks
Bob
