Visiting Detroit?
I fly in to DTW several time a year to see my daughter in College. And of all the times I've done so I've never seen Detroit.
I do know how bad it can be, but I'm fascinated with the stories I've heard of the place. Its grandeur and its ruin.
So I am thinking about heading in to the Motor City early on a Friday morning - say around 6:00am on a Friday in March. Bad idea? If not, what would you see and how much time would you take?
