+1 Lots to see there. You could easily spend a week there.
I was in Detroit about 10 years ago and found the people nice and courteous to visitors. The roads on the other hand left something to be desired (lots of couches and ladders on the roadway made for some swift maneuvering.
) Visit Woodward Avenue so you can brag about it to your friends. Overall it was a very pleasant couple of days.
