Years ago, one of my Siberian Huskies grabbed the 2nd half of the Thanksgiving turkey and hauled ass through the dog door into the back yard with his prize. My mother was not amused at the time, but she loves telling the story now.
The same dog used to comment on my mother's biscuit making skills by taking one from her hand, dropping it to the floor to hear it thud, then picking it up later. Usually he buried it.
Miss those dogs.
