Well Dad had the hip replacement surgery yesterday and as walking today, albeit with a walker.

He came through with flying colors and was flirting with the nurses and joking with the docs in the pre-op, OR and in recovery.

The doc did an anterior method surgery going in from the front. They said the recovery is much quicker than the older method.

He will probably be released in a few days and then into rehab for about 10 days or so.

His attitude is very positive and he is thrilled that he did the surgery. He is looking forward to pain free days ahead.
