Where does the A/C air come out of?
I know this probably sounds silly, but where does the air from the A/C system come out on a 924S?
When I turn my A/C on, the clutch engages on the compressor and the radiator fans come on and everything works as it's supposed to except that I can't figure out where the air is coming from. With the A/C on full force I can hear the sound of whooshing air but none of it's coming out of any vent that I can think of. Certainly nothing coming out of the vents above the center console. I'm assuming that since the A/C is a separate system (complete with its own exclusive fan) that it has its own vents somewhere. I just can't figure out where.
Thanks a lot guys. Also, anyone know where I can get R-12 relatively cheaply? Or if R-22 is compatible with an R-12 system? (Have a friend who works in refridgeration who says that R-12 and R-22 are completely compatible with R-22 being much, much, much cheaper.) If not, how much is it to exchange the dryer and convert the bloody thing to R-134a? Something that I could do myself?
