These are Canadian prices (I buy here in Canada when I can as the delivery is quicker than going through customs from the US). I have bought a number of parts from this place (clutch, pressure plate, starter, etc) and have had excellent service. I didn't check Pelican, but imagine the prices are similar.

not unusual for a shop to double the price of parts used in a repair.....pretty much normal practice around here at least....cost x 2 +labor=your repair bill....
