I just looked at the US PET 84-86MY (unfortunately I do not have the ROW version for those years). Late sport seats (like the red 86 can-can photo shown) are listed : 86MY - on
They were probably available a year earlier elsewhere ? (interestingly they were obviously originally produced for the 944 model line).
