F.S. 1969 VW Bug
***SOLD***
I am selling my 1969 VW Bug that I bought a couple years back. I purchased the car with the intention of restoring it. I have since purchased a VW Thing that I am more interested in restoring then the Bug. The previous owner had the car registered as "non-op" for the last 15 years. The only thing that I have done to the car since bringing it home is put a battery in it, make sure it ran, drove it a couple of miles to check out the gear box, then remove the fuel tank and have it boiled out. I haven't even reinstalled the tank. It has been sitting in my garage since the day I bought it. The engine is not from a 1969 Bug. It appears that it is a 1971 dual port Bug engine. (better then the 69 Bug motor) The car is very straight and does not have rust issues. It needs someone that wants a restoration project.
Looking at $2000.00 This would be a great Father and Son work project.
