I too have been debating this floor mat issue. My targa just has loose mats on a steel floor. Of course this makes for the mats slipping all over the place. Do the Lloyd's mats have a rubber or plastic backing, something to stiffen the mat so it wants to stay in place?
Any other suggestions for mats that will stay in place on a steel floor and hold a bit of moisture ans sand from getting under the mats? Also needs to be comfortable for bare foot driving.

I was leaning toward Coco mats but they are heavy and I think not too comfortable for bare footing. Still open to ideas.
