Well they talk about the ugly American. Now I have witnessed the ugly Canadians.
My wife and I are going to Palm Springs and we both have aisle seats. There is a male passenger to the left of me at the window seat and there is nobody between us. The passenger in front of the man to the left of me reaches back to adjust the air nozzle. The man to the left of me says that it is not his to touch. An argument ensues between the two 60-70 year olds. The front passenger pushes the call button to get the flight attendant to judge this argument. The front passenger reclines his seatback and the passenger next to the window complains that you cannot do that.
Their voices are getting louder while the discussion is getting more heated. The flight attendant( think Wonderwoman - but blond and at least 6 foot tall). She listens to the argument and brings two more flight attendants as backups. She says"if you two adults want to like children we will land somewhere else other than your destination". They immediately shut up
Later in the flight I went up to Wonderwoman and told her she handled the situation very well. Sometimes I think I would like to be in a car for 4 days with my wife than be in an aeroplane for 3 hours with the chance of sitting near the maladjusted....
