When I used to travel internationally a lot, I would take a change of clothes for the flight. I would wear a suit onto the plance and change into shorts or sweatpants and a t-shirt. These would be for 10+ hour flights. My clothes stayed relatively unwrinkled and if there was an unfortunate spill, no problem. And I definitely would use the Business class socks provided.
