I sincerely hope I am not speaking too soon, but I hope and pray that this year is a better year for kids than last year was. So many children like Samantha Runnion and Danielle Van Damme experienced the worst things imaginable at such a young age.
Then there was the child in Missouri that came up missing and the other little girl who disappeared after her parents were murdered. And how about the girl whose mother beat the heck out of in the parking lot of that department store, in front of the cameras, so the entire world could witness it...whatever happened in that case?
2002 was definitely NOT a good year to be a kid. Let's pray that 2003 is a better one!!!
