Believe me Janet, they are never out of the way, they are always going to be there, needing something, even if its just love. Once you have them, you have got them for life!!!
My 22 year old still needs his Mum and Dad to help sort stuff out for him, he is no dummy has just finished his science degree, but has now decided to continue for another university year and complete a Diploma in Secondary School Education, so Mum and Dad just keep on keeping on. Lucky we have enough money to keep funding, but I tell you, when we get old and grey, they better help look after us!!

oh I know they never leave you alone but, we're later twenties and early thirties and don't have to deal with babies again....until they make us grandparents. That better not happen for at least 20 years or I will kill them.
