A one inch rigid conduit bender is equal to one and a quarter EMT. They aren't cheap and require a substantial amount of weight to bend with. Either get factory bends from the supply house, usually you can get 15 30 45 and 90 degree bends easily, or ask a local shop. It will take just a couple minutes for a good wireman with a power bender and it will look better with tighter radii. I'm about 5'9" and 175 lbs. 1 1/4 " EMT eats my lunch!
