I think this is the correct forum for this question.
I am considering the purchase of a used 2012 991 vs. a 2010 or 2011 997 as a daily driver. I previously had a 996 as a dd that did not go so well (see previous my previous posts). I typically put 18K miles/year (80% highway) on my dd. Any known issues coming up with the new model? Do you think a 15K mile 991 is worth a $15-20K premium over a 997 with 35K miles and extended aftermarket warranty? The 991 is over my price point but since I don't golf I may be able to budget the extra.
