You peel back the rubber surround and pull out the switch's symbol/cover plate. Then you should be able to see a nut that holds the knob on. Once you get the knob off, then there is a threaded disc (parts diagram calls it a rose) that you have to spin off with a pointed tool like a pick or an awl.
