So you think a collection agency is going to vet a letter appearing to be from an attorney? And if they do and figure out it's phony, then what? Continue to do their illegal phone calls? I think there's a pretty big difference between pretending to be a doctor and trying to get rid of a harassing collection agency without having to hire an attorney.
I like the idea of reporting them to a government agency, though. As long as they do something.
