By way of further clarification, I do, in fact, keep a single action handy for just that purpose. That, and if I'm wearing a jacket, sweatshirt, or similarly loose fitting clothing, one serves as my primary carry gun. That 4 3/4" at the bottom of the picture has been my near constant companion for going on 30 years.
