Of course it is (on both counts). What is missing, however, is days and days of confrontation and provocation that I'm sure would be less than flattering to the Sea Shepherd's captain and crew. They are behaving irresponsibly. That would be fine with me if they were only risking their lives, but they are also risking the lives of men on the other vessels. They need to be made to stop, even at the cost of their ship and their lives.

I've done none whatsoever, but it certainly doesn't take any experience to reach that conclusion. But, again, the Sea Shepherd has put everyone involved at this level of risk, have they not?

Yes, both of our countries' histories speak to that. I'm not suggesting this in any sort of humorous context - the Japanese navy needs to sink that ship before her and her crew hurt innocent men on those other vessels. Make their intentions very clear, give them the option to leave, and when they don't - sink the bastards. Any survivors they manage to collect get tried for piracy in Japan. This isn't a game.
