The engine # should start a 8xxxxxx if it has the German style heat exchangers. If it starts with a 7xxxxxx then it should have the type called the US.

The non electric antenna is on the drivers or left side fender. It was done this way so that the antenna would not be on the side-walk side to be broken by passers by.

It looks like it has US style seal beam head lights, by the picture. They should be like this one-a Blub instead of the seal beams.

The front fender that has the 4 screws for the grill is probably a replacement fender and grill from a wrecking yard.

If the rear engine lid has a bar in the center of the grill opening. Then it left the factory about the same time as mine. My car was one of the very last to left in June of 66. It had a few updates that came out on the 67. It is like the factory ran out of some of the 66 trim parts getting ready for the 67 run in August. It was also a special order. However, the glove box door still had the scrip 912.

If I ever decided to sell the car. I would probably sell to someone living in Danmark. Since the import tax was already paid on it in the 66 delivery and the car is still Euro ready.

You should have metric gauges, instead of the miles and etc. Unless it was originally sold to a US serviceman. Which several were back then and then imported to the states.
