Hi my car at present has all its oil lines removed,oil tank&front cooler .
Its on a friends 2 post lift,we managed to remove both long copper lines still attached to the regulator.
He placed the flats of the the unuion nuts on an anvil & hit the flat from each side ,I now have it a part all pipe threads ok but the reg has corrosion on the treads thought might clean treads,but was told don't risk it as if it failed I would loose all the oil in seconds.
It's under hight pressure , I am no expert as only bought the car 8 weeks ago but hope the might be of help to you or anyone else , I only started out to fix oil return pipes& full exhaust!!! Look at my other posts
