I see what you're saying about not wanting to try too hard but IMO the worst mistake someone can make in dating is being what they think the other person likes instead of being themselves. Then, when the real you comes out, she will say "why did you change?". If you're worried about her looking at the money then talk about how many people assume that owning a Porsche means having an expensive car but a new X-brand car costs more than your car. I'm not too proud to say that I work on mine to save money because the real cost of ownership is in the maintenance. That said, if you are comfortable in the Rodeo then put on you best boots, saddle up, and have a good time.
