I've been working on my basement and I'm at a moment of indecision.
I have a pool table, which was a fraternity house rescue and free. But there is no stone or slatron. It is not cosmetically in great shape but it is all wood and is very level. Money is an object, but that's why I have a free table in my basement.
But what do I do? Buy a set of slate? Go with an alternative? Don't waste my time with it and dump it? Turn it into a craft or table tennis station?
-4 x 8 foot
-rails in decent shape
-pattern for holes perhaps standard, but what if it is not?
-wood frame, but not antique or sentimental.
