The issues with SOME 996's are well documented re: IMS, RMS, 2nd gear pop-out and cracked heads.

What are your estimated costs for fixing these problems (before they occur).

IMS: I see about $2.5K for IMS replacement LN Engineering

RMS leak: RMS you do at time of clutch change unless significant oil - right? I know there is conjecture about some RMS leaks being caused by a non-catastrophic IMS issues.

2nd degree pop-out: Install detent (GBOX)-cost?

Any other major issues with early 996's?

Is the expertise to make these changes only at specific shops, like LN?
