Regarding the location of the plaque - I purchased my 1975 911S Targa Silver Anniversary model new in Alabama in 1975. The plaque was not mounted on the vehicle - the dealer provided it as a separate item, which I mounted on the glove box (#255). I still own the vehicle with all original parts and maintenance records. If anyone is looking to purchase one, I would consider selling it. Everything is here and the vehicle is still running, although I don't drive it very much these days. It was never in an accident and is in reasonably good condition, although I have never restored the vehicle and the engine has only been rebuilt one time - a long time ago. Interestingly enough, it was discovered that the original engine had racing cams from the factory.
