I ripped the old soundproofing out today as it had all come away from the firewall and all the foam has just disentigrated and I can see it is going to be a major just getting all the crap out of the engine bay.
Not sure whether to just leave it off or put a new one in.
Has anyone replaced one with the engine in on a 3.2 carrera?
Should I just clean up and leave off (heat issues in cabin?)
Solvent to remove glue residue?
Maybe cover everything up and use a spray can to paint as best I can
just after opinions really
