I couldn't imagine trying to drive that light weight roadster with a rev-happy monster ported 427+ I would want as close to race tires on the street as I could.
I love over kill on hp to weight and this is it.

The final figures came in at 540 hp and 530 ft lbs of torque through mufflers which is somewhat “mild” compared other Side Oilers, but it met my goal of keeping the motor streetable so my wife could drive it. The cool part of this motor is the torque curve (or lack thereof); it’s relatively flat from 3k through 6k, staying north of 500+ ft lbs.
I still have some detail work ahead before installation (change disty cap, spark plug wires need to be cut to the proper length, touch-up oil pan, replace oil adapter, mount the factory style fuel filter, etc.). I'll start another thread when I get the ball rolling.
