No, I think that you are wrong on Brazil. Have you lived there? Please relate your experiences regarding racism there.
As for the USA, it's gradually getting better but less than 50 years ago we had South Africa style apartheid in the Southern states with blacks not allowed to drink the same water or use the same restrooms as whites. If you think that changes 180 degrees while a lot of the same people are still alive, you live in a dream world. PARF would be such a dream world.
