I'd be much more concerned with making the wrong impression on some total catch of a chick. It is unfortunate that most people do not see a Porsche driver as some interesting, adventurous motor racing fan. They see him as tool who is looking for attention. I own them in spite of the image. It's not a good image.  |
+1- for me the car thing is a hobby- a personal hobby I for one don't want a GF that is rabid about cars.... It would suck having someone around who WAS EXACTLY THE SAME.
Autonomy is where it's at. Keeps things interesting. She has her things, I have my things, and we have our things...

EDIT- oh, and that means I don't need to listen to silly crap she wants to do to her car, and I don't need to spend money or time on it. It also means in high risk areas, we take her transportation appliance and my stuff stays home, safe.
